Family structure and the candidate’s current living arrangement are separate questions. Discuss the hoped-for arrangement after marriage rather than treating a joint-family background as a fixed requirement.
Prepare for an introduction across cities.
Before arranging a meeting, agree who will join, what information may be shared and which questions need a private conversation. The candidate should have space to consider the introduction without pressure. Travel or family enthusiasm should not be treated as consent.
