How information is handled
Private by default. Candidate photographs and family contact details are not publicly shared. Members control photo access and contact sharing through privacy settings and requests.
Document verification. Uploaded proofs are used by Misaq staff to review provided details. These documents are not shown to other families.
Profile information. Approved members may see profile details needed for matrimonial evaluation, such as age, city, education, profession, family background, preferences, and review status.
Messages and safety. A private messaging board opens after an interest is accepted. Misaq retains text messages and message records to provide conversation history, delivery and read features, supported deletion controls, and safety workflows. Encrypted media is temporarily relayed and removed after retrieval or expiry. Reports, blocks, and support tickets may be reviewed by authorized staff to protect members.
Contact details. A member’s stored phone number and email address are not automatically displayed to another family. Members decide whether to share direct contact details in a conversation.
Account control. Members may update privacy settings, delete supported messages, block users to stop further communication, request support, or ask staff to review concerns through protected account and support areas.
