Protecting trust in practice
A safer model is progressive disclosure. First show the information needed to judge broad compatibility. If both sides choose to proceed, reveal additional details. Direct contact can come at a stage where both families and candidates understand who is receiving it and why.
This is not secrecy. It is simply matching access to purpose. The question should always be: Does this person need this information at this stage?
